I have some fantastic news for all my readers who enjoy my photography!
My previous post, Simple Pleasures and The Robin and The Snow, featured a photo of a wintry silhouetted tree with the background of snowy South Downs.
I am very pleased to announce that this photo has been chosen by editors of The Simple Things to feature on their "Wordless Wednesdays" blog-post!
Through the power that social media has to connect people, I have recently discovered the fantastic publication The Simple Things along with their lovely website and blog.
Wordless Wednesdays are a regular blog posting on which the team feature an inspirational photo that needs no text.
The Simple Things magazine is published 13 times a year and describes itself as a celebrations of:
"The things that matter most. It's about slowing down, enjoying what you have, making the most of where you live, enjoying the company of friends and family, and making simple food for friendly gatherings. We like to grow some of our own vegetables, visit local markets, rummage in thrift shops, and decorate our home with the plunder.
And we like to think that the small things we do will make a difference in the long run – whether that's making, upcycling, growing, cooking, entertaining, escaping or relaxing."
The Wordless Wednesdays post featuring my photograph will appear at 12:30pm on Wednesday 30th January and after that time you'll be able to see it here: http://www.thesimplethings.com/tag/wordless-wednesdays/
(go and mark that date on your calender in bold brightly coloured felt-tip pen!)
